I honestly can't believe that this still hasn't been fixed or looked at. There is no way to turn down or disable this startup music, as even turning down in game music to zero does absolutely nothing to the volume of this start up. SO you're probably saying whats the big deal it's only a little thing, no big deal, right? Well while this isn't a game breaking thing it boggles the mind that this small (and lets be real) easy to fix thing is definitely a QOL thing that should have been fixed a very long while ago. So all I ask is that either A) there is an option to mute this start up menu music separate from in game music. Maybe just another audio slider like all the other in game volumes Or B) just honestly take a look at the volume of the start up music and make it reasonable, i mean honestly i shouldn't even have to tell you this. I really will never understand why it seems like every single game company doesn't have a basic understanding of how loud something should be as it seems most if not all games have a literal UNREASONABLY LOUD start up sound of some sort or other blast our ears first thing, which is always so very clearly MUCH MUCH LOUDER than all the other in game sounds it's really just bizarre. So please as someone who has played this game from some of the earliest alphas I and i'm sure many others would appreciate this small but large impact QOL change to this wonderful game.
Pre Lobby Menu music is INSANELY LOUD
Personally, I like it. It's not as if it's Rage Against The Machine sort of loud anyway.. it's just ominous.....
@wagstr i do like the music its nice and i love that they change it for each patches theme, but for me it's just personally way to loud idk if you just play at a generally lower volume but even then you would i assume still notice that it is significantly louder than all the other menu music. For me it literally rattles my desktop speakers (i have 2 speakers and a sub woofer) and when using my headphones it's not quite as bad but still far louder than the other menus music .
I use 2 Yamaha studio monitors out of a mixing desk, it's loud but only the windows rattle occasionally..
@saucelessknight i agree with this, altho i've learned to mute volume every time i start the game or change server....
Not being funny but decent speakers shouldn't really rattle much if at all. You said it was most games?
