Extra fast sword ?

    Hello,

    Every now and then I encounter a pirate in a fight and have ran into a couple who when we sword fight I can block, or hit him and he will come at me woth such sword speed he doesnt cooldown and connects all slashes until I die within half a second from eachother, no cooldown, no pushback.

    I look in their profiles and see they have very low achievement percentage so just for my own sanity I want to know if this is a known hack or if they are exploting a maneuver in game like they used to do double gun?

    And yes I an a very experienced pvp player

    Well i'm not sure this is what your experincing but there is a sword slash cancel technique in the game. It's very difficult to pull off and iv'e only done it once successfuly. It requries you to 2 slash combo then as the 2nd slash hits double tap y to cancel/reset the sword combo. It takes advantage of the equpment reset like how you can dig faster with the shovel.

    Not sure it still works after the swtich deley they added to stop DG double tap. I belive this may be done with sprint now. Never really got the oportunity to retest this.
