Also don't sell the skull to the reapers hideout, it doesn't count towards the commendation.

With new updates comes new bugs/glitches.
I have burnt alot of skellies and even ships (skellyships) but naaah nothing counts.

As someone mentioned earlier: happends each update.
Slow down on them insted of doing 1 broken thing each month. Easypeasy

I believe have figured out how to fix the glitch. Gonna try again on another server. 1 skull was enough to get 100 skeletons and multiple ships before it emptied.

@fast-420 I've tried your way a couple times in the past (just killing skelly's on the island you finish the event) and it didn't work. Unless I'm missing something with your approach...

I have found that you do not have to kill the Ashen Lord skeletons to make it work. You only need to hold onto the skull for a period of time then it works. Tried this 3 times on different servers.

Also, you cannot ignite the same skeleton ship multiple times to count up the commendations.

What has your experience been with how long you need to hold it? 5 minutes? If you hold it will it work for anyone in your crew after that? Is this a crew based commendation?

It will be a bit before my crew can test this out and we'd love to have as much info as possible going in. Thanks for helping!

@tangus-00 I am not sure. We usually get the skull then go do a fort or whatever pops up next and by the time another event pops up it seems to work.

You get comms for the entire crew no matter who does it. And anyone can use it. This will all be void tomorrow, servers are going down for a patch rollout and no doubt this will be fixed.

I've had the same bug but with skeleton ships.

I tucked on dagger tooth waiting for a brig to bring the skull to me but they were attacked by a skelleon. After a few minutes of watching the battle from shore, the commendation popped for igniting 20 skellies. I ended up with 32 skellies ignited and 1 ship. I wasn't allied with them, hadn't set foot on either their ship or the skelleon, and hadn't done any damage to anyone. Apparently just being close (not even that close) will award credit for igniting things with the skull.

@d3adst1ck I was surprised when it worked for the crew. Wraith balls, setting skeletons on fire etc all where individual. To be honest I thought it was glitched when it went among the crew.
