Fix This!
When we log in and it states you are sailing the seas with “Xbox on controller only “ and shortly after we find players on keyboard mouse and also players on Pc, we have obviously been lied to lol
I know arena is just a preference but adventure is lockout!
I have 2 good friends who I won’t ever game with because they enjoy exploiting on any game possible. I sat with them and watched how easy it is to be in an Xbox server while been on Pc. Also watched first hand how easy it is to be on keyboard mouse. They showed me the magnitude of advantages gain by both these processes. What’s interesting is they also know how to stop it. Rare you have the tools to stop this. Time to fix it. My Hot Tip.... Sunday est is when you will see most exploiters online. Facebook pages have most of the info on how to exploit this game.
Xbox Only Servers Controller Only
I'm curious can you explian this process and how it works. Do they simply have to plug a controler into their PC and then unplug it?
You make a grand claim without evidence or a method to verify. If what you say is true this is a big issue altou it wouldn't be the frist time Rare lied. Still i ask you plz verify your cliams

I think you mistake, Xbox Players using Chatpad or Keyboard plugin and able to chat.
No he clearly stating he saw keyboard and mouse play advantage not chat advantage. He claims there a way to subvert the system and can be done quite easily to the point where the filter might as well be non existant.
@l-snapper-l said in Xbox Only Servers Controller Only:
I mean there are some advantages with keyboard and mouse but with some controller sensitivity changes that can help blur the line if that is what you are so upset about
No there a quite a bit of an advantage this has been study not just with senitivity althou it does help. Althou it main affects pirate to pirate combat. However in Ship combat the controler has a very slight advantage.
I'm hesitant to believe him, certainly, but at the same time, if what he says is true, do you really think Rare wants him to advertise the methods needed to bypass systems in their game? No, they wouldn't. If anything, I think he's being rather savvy, if not outright lying. There's a way around this, though. Ask him to PM you the evidence. That way, if he has it, it's not publicly advertised, and if he doesn't share it, then he's obviously crying wolf.

Bro the only way things get fixed is if the exploit is well known and the devs are forced to look into it. Also there seems to be an issue where some of the dev are completly oblivous to some issues and simply DMs or reports don't work. So if this indeed true and you want it fixed you gonna have to make it public knowlage. Belive me i knew alot of people who kept exploits a secret just so they can keep the advantage this also applies to devs.
@enf0rcer You don't need to fix things that don't need to be fixed.
A perfect example of this, believe it or not, is the double gun exploit, or DGE.
You see, the DGE was in the game since release, but it didn't really come into the limelight until it was highlighted by certain streamers.
Therefore, prior to that moment, it didn't have a drastic effect on the Sea's population. This means that even if Rare knew about it, prior to its popularity, they may not have seen a need to fix it, as it would be a waste of resources on their end so long as it continued to not be a problem.
If anything, 1 could argue that the individuals who greenlight such issues are the ones actually creating the issue, and forcing a fix that was never needed up until that point.
It's kind of like seeing a pile of paper garbage, seeing the litter as an issue, but then setting it aflame so that the fire department will clean it up. It's not a problem until it's lit; it's just paper.
This is both good and bad - good in that it fixes a POTENTIAL issue, but bad because it diverts time and resources away from what the developers may have already planned.

The Game Needs Fixing Before Anymore Content Drops.
The attention needs to be directed, as they always have stated, to keeping a level playing field.
The Resources are there, for each sector. As was previously mentioned, real issues in the game need to be publicly announced when tickets have failed. And of course I’m not going to give away the system gate entry! So we can have more issues in the game... think about it. They fixed the game previously, it can be done again. Rare have my email, and once again I’m happy to share the actual evidence to them” to save them time and resources “ digging through files etc... At least someone credible has the nouce to address the issues and big problems in the game. At this point Arena is running far better even on international servers! And that’s saying something....
cheers for the reply’s it helps to get these problems into the spotlight so our devs have an opportunity to rescue their game from under skilled cheats.@galactic-geek said in Xbox Only Servers Controller Only:

I'm not saying anything needs fixing. I merely stating if know of an expoilt that exist that is game breaking and wanted it fixed, Then you Should make it public so the dev are forced to look at it.
There is know reason to hide an expolite unless you wanted to keep it.
Thats why i question the OP statments.
@enf0rcer You don't need to make it public though - that just convinces others who are considering trying out the game that it has issues and that it's probably not worth trying. What you should be doing is reporting it through proper channels.
I know you said you have done that, and that they don't listen, but I don't think that's the case. I think that it's simply because many of you probably think that because someone else already reported it that you don't need to. That's wrong! The more reports that get sent in, the more Rare is going to realize that it's important to us, and they will get around to fixing it.
This way, you get what you want without damaging the game's reputation.
If you're being actually sincere and are truly worried about it, send in a report to Rare explaining the exploit and how to replicate it so that they can fix it.
Ranting in the forums is not going to get a response, for the reasons that others have mentioned.

Please Stop making cliams without evidence. If you really thought there was a problem or knew the working of the exploite you should share it and not hope for rare to contact you. Cause if Rare hasn't acknowlaged it yet it ethier doesn't exist or they want it that way.

Thats what the insiders are for. If the exploited has exist for this long outside of testing then dev would already know and acknolweged this if not they want it that way or feel it's not a big enough of an issue to fix.
@enf0rcer That's a good point. If you genuinely care about making the game better for everyone, then signing up for Insider is a great way to do it!
@jellyfishapod2 As far as I am aware, ALL Opt-Out is a preference and not a guarantee.
That being said, if you believe a player has been toxic in the game or suspect foul play, you can report them to Xbox Live here. You can also submit a support ticket to Rare Support.
As it is a matter for support and not the Forums I'll drop anchor here.
