I'd like to suggest an improvement in the accessibility of the game. I have vertigo, motion sickness, so it's very hard for me to play Sea of Thieves for more than 2h. Every time I'm forced to quit the game because I get sick from the ship's sudden and wavy movements. This gets frustrating because I can't play with my friends for too long.
I'd love if the game provided an option to keep the player's camera fixed/relative to the horizon so this way the camera won't wobble along with the waves as much. This way players all over the world who shared this condition with me can enjoy the game like everyone else.
P.s.: The drunk camera effect is also not very good for people with this condition, clearly. I get that it can be used by other players as an advantage within combat, but for me, it's the worst to handle.
Thanks for your comprehension and I'd like to say that I'm available to provide some feedback regarding possible fixes addressing this problem.
Accessibility for people with motion sickness
I can understand the desire for a fix in order to alleviate the symptoms, but it seems like this would have a negative impact to gameplay in regards to player interactions.
If I am understanding correctly, this would stabilize the player compared to the things around them as if they were on land and give them a significant advantage in PvP. Similar to standing on a yard arm to use the EoR or Spyglass as it is almost completely stable when compared to the rest of the ship.
