I had this thought during the daily bounty the other day that rewarded 3k gold if another crew sold your chest.

What if we could buy chests for doubloons that had effects if other pirates picked them up (unbeknownst to them)
Ideas:

• Tracking chest. Shows chest on map (only for purchasing crew) like the reapers bounty does.
• Insurance chest. When sold gives seller normal chest amount, but gives original purchaser 3k gold.
• Mega/skeleton ship/kracken attractor. Increased pve chance when onboard.
• disguised chest of rage/sorrows

Just thought it would be a neat idea that the underlying mechanics seem to already be mostly present for.

@b1eedb1ue this sounds really fun. I'm adding it to a running list I have going (and will credit you).

I'm not a fan of the "insurance" chest. That's not even how insurance works; normally you "insure" some of your items by paying some money up front, and then later, if those items are damaged, destroyed, or stolen, you get money back for them.
