Why change this.... having to go through multiple menus now is much more annoying and wastes time for things like when you are repairing the ship and need to quickly tell everyone they need to bail.....

agree, They tried to fix something that wasn't broken, that its simple doesn't mean it's bad.
All besides the little bit of the strategy chat Is uselessI just used to use My Inventory to say different things, Like With the watch "I will stand Watch"

The Most important, "Over Here!" Is no longer exists, It could have meant many things depends on the situation.Now I cant say half of the stuff right Cuz they changed the locations of the chat after everyone got used to it over two years!
And the Aye!, why is it cheerful...
(I know is a small thing, but It should've have been a Passive Aye (Aye), which could differ based on the situation.More than two menus are it's too complicated when u are at the heat of battle or something else.
And the remapping of the Hotkeys,

It was a stable, simple, and Perfect system.
And now it's just one big massThe minimum fix should be to return the Item chat to what it used to be.
And if so they want, just add a new chat, but not change it.

If they just swapped places with it, it would be alright.
So when holding an equipment or etc, the first thing that pops up is the "context sensitive chat",
and press a button for the "non context chat"..
if you get what I mean.In my opinion they could just swap those 2, and it would be manageable.

Yes this is a fix I would love to see... The item you are holding options should show up first....
@pvekilla420 its like when they changed text size in chat. Noone is asking, but we made it obligatory for you folks) on gamepad its more or less fine, but swinging lots of buttons while holding some on key board feels like I play dance game rather then try to say simple phrase
@burnbacon not everyone wants to hear you chewing, a baby crying, smashing keys. The pirate chat was perfect the way it was and played into the flavor of the game. It was easy to use and functional, now it's gonna be dead as far as flavor and utility. They should just roll it back. It benefits no one and is a let down.

10 bucks. Buy a mic and never have to use the pirate chat again. But you know...nobody wants to do the easy route
I have a mic, but i'm from the EU where not everybody speaks English.... pirate chat translates most EU languages so you can cross the language barrier....
Is there an option yet to get context chat automatically?
It’s just impossible to fight while going throughout different menu.
After a long break I want to play again, but I’m so lost. I had to revert back some controls they changed like right bumper for quests instead of pirate chat which was on the d-pad and easier to use for me.
@nic727 No there isn't... Rare made it so much harder to do and like you said, kinda impossible while in the heat of the battle where seconds mate the difference between winning or losing.... They claimed they improved it but that doesn't surprise me with rare... break something but claim it's better.... RARE 101
