Is there a trick to catching pondies in small ponds?
the fish are there, they'll grab my hook, but the ponds are so small the line snaps nearly instantly because it reaches an edge or touches a rock
update. about 2 out of 10 fish do not snap the line. It seems the fish going into the edge and snapping the line is a bug rather than an intentional design choice which would make sense since lines don't work like that with fishing
