FPS problems

  • I have a new generation PC ryzen 7 3800x, 32 GB of RAM nVidia GeForce 2080 super with 2k monitor of the msi, with maximum performance I go only to 30fps but putting it in the window I reach 60, decreasing the window size more and more these fps increase more and more. It is the only game I have problems with. Why?

    Thanks

  • @brugudu I am currently running similar hardware except strictly speaking worse and older, 2700x and Rtx 2070 (no super). I have no issues at 2k exceeding 60fps on max settings.

Check your drivers or display settings.

  • @brugudu im running the following:

    Ryzen 7 3700x
    16 GB ram DDR4 3200
    Amd radeon Rx 5700 XT
    And a 2560x1080 monitor

And run 60 fps flawlessly with vsync on, if i turn off vsync i run at 100 to 120 fps
All with maxed out graphical settings

So i think it is something on your machine that is not running optimally but tough to say

  • I would recommend turning of vsync. When that is enabled it will sync your FPS to what your monitor is, which I would recommend updating your monitor to a 144hz and up. If that doesn't help you might wanna start playing with the settings as the game doesn't seem like it would be demanding but don't let the graphic style fool you, it can be demanding especially in certain areas or during certain events.

Werd! Also check to make sure your graphic card and everything are completely up-to-date. CPU, GPU, etc - update everything! It makes a difference!
