I'm having non stop problems with playing this game. On the off chance that I DO get to play it, it works fantastic and is loads of fun.
But if it manages to open one day, the day after it wont open at all, i'll click it multiple times but it wont even appear in the task manager. I've reset the app, did a clean install multiple times, but still the problem persists. I have to restart my computer literally every time, and even then sometimes it doesnt work.
And now it opened fine today, but the 'game mismatch please install new update' appeared and its been stuck on 'Installing sea of thieves' for about an hour now. I restarted my PC (something I have to do literally every time I even want to play) and it still stuck on the download. The bar is 100% full, but I cant open the game at all still.
PLEASE give me more suggestions, I am using the newest version of windows, this is literally the only game I have any sort of trouble with and its very frustrating when my friends ask me to play, and I cant even open the game

@kimikada I never have issues opening the game and very few people do so I’d like to suggest it’s your device not the game. Try and fix the problem on your end and do some research because I guarantee it’s not the game doing it
@mr-rattles I dont doubt that its my computer itself, but I literally cant figure out the problem, and this is the only game that really seems to be affected by it.

Check your disk space. If there isn’t enough space to ‘unpack’ the game it may remain stuck at 100%.
Disk space is fine too, it doesnt even try to jump up from the normal 3ish % it usually sits at, telling me its not even trying to open the game for some reason
