I am a female gamer and have played the game for two years now and love the game. I was thrilled when they started to introduce new female bottoms... then I bought them. Every female bottom the proportions are off and now that costumes are becoming a bigger item in the game they too have the wrong proportions. I have stick legs if I wear them.... somehow my arms are twice the size of my legs? So I end up usually wearing male pants just so that the proportions match my character model. Why on earth are the women's legs so significantly smaller to the point of twig, anorexic style. This not only sends an unfair reflection of a woman's ideal body but just plain looks stupid. Fix it Rare... I'm sure there are women who love being as skinny as possible on the seas but I'm not one I'd prefer my character to look like a real human please!
Leg size should be based on your character model anyway not your clothes... but yeah just paid money for the new costume because as I said before I love and support the game and got super frustrated to again see the same body proportion mistakes continue if you're a female.
My pirate legend has sailed a long time, fought and earned the right to have real thighs and calves. Take a serious look at this because it honestly has started to feel slightly sexist that women should have tiny toothpick legs... I don't know if anyone else has complained about this but this is my first time going to the site to complain because it's just become so frustrating.
**** UPDATE SINCE POSTING******: Since a lot of guys have posted comments about the lack of relevance/importance of this post perhaps I shouldn't have named my post to be specific to women. (also if you're a male character criticizing I encourage you to buy one female bottom and see the difference in your own player model bottom when you wear it). So let's drop the women part and just have the argument be "Costumes/Clothes shouldn't change the size of your player model" If I had picked a big character I'd expect to constantly have big legs same for small medium etc.
