Love the game I’ve put so many hours into it and reached pirate legend and rep 18 in Athena’s and it has grown so much over the years. With the introduction of curses that can be equipped I thought for pirate legends that hit rep 20 should get a full body Athena ghost curse that involves the same color scheme as the newly added ghost gear. I own the ashen dragon curse and it look awesome so I thought it would be cool to add a Athena one too to match the new gear.
GHOST ATHENA CURSE
The current "athena hull" looks like sh°° compared to the ashen hull.
Now that Rare has shown us they can do an overall orange, firey glowing effect, a green glowing effect would just be "lit".
I have the three new skins by now. Meaning the green glowing
° anchor
° cannons
° and wheelso it looks kinda out of place without the ship glowing this way as well.
I had an athena chest on my ship another day and noticed
" Oh my god... this looks amazing with the cannons, spills and wheel! "A mere chest/item assisted the overall look of my ship more as the overall hull.
This is a big failure on the overall design choice by now.
I hope Rare will update the "athena hull" at some point.
The current one is just an embarassment.i also suggested to make the hull glow like the ashen one, but of course in ghostly green.
Or even use the ashen dragon hull and just recolor it.
It would be also cool to see through the hull as it has some "ghost planks".i want the glowing eyes from the mysterious stranger as an Athena curse.
I already use the cutlass and all of the Athena tools.
but dress myself more in an understatement way.
