Cannon Equality

    One of two suggestions..so...

    Cannons
    Gally - 8 cannons for 4 people
    Brig - 4 cannons for 3 people
    Sloop - 2 cannons for 2 people

    Currently that means with a full crew, all 4 gally members can shoot off one side at a target. There is only 2 people who can cannon in one direction on a brig leaving out one person. And a sloop is only limited to one cutting their firepower in half.

    My suggestions are:

    1. add one extra row of cannons on the sloop and the brig giving them one cannon per person on each side equal to the gally person vs cannon ratio

    Or

    1. limit the gally by one row, dropping it to three cannons on each side making it equal to the person vs cannon ratio of the other ships

    Sloop vs gally is always going to be a difficult encounter but at least we can make the firepower fair in any way we can!

    There is even more to that suggestion. It came with ladders.

    Yeah, I am with this as well.
    ° Sloop, two cannons on each side. Maybe even a little angled towards the front?
    ° Brigantine, three cannons on each side.
    ° Galleon, omg it is fine. :D

    Ladders
    ° Sloop, ladders moving down where the stairs begin (optional)
    ° Brigantine, either a ladder at the backside of the ship, two ladders onto the tilted front-mast of the ship
    ° Galleon, two ladders on the same height as the two regular one's but as much to the front as possible

    Cause as it is now it is way too easy to guard ladders.

    I did not see the stream from pace. I watch his stuff sometimes but not religiously!

    I think it makes a ton of sense to rework the ships a little! Someone made a comment about the cannons today and I was literally like WAIT WHAT OMG I NEVER NOTICED that's not right! Lol

    @tubiansayne I think the reason the Galleon has 4 cannons per side is because it was originally designed for 5 players, so you wouldn't be able to have the full crew on cannons.

    With that thought everything is logical, but what they planned to do and what they actually did are two diff things lol

    I'd rather they didnt nerf things because the forum is always complaining about things are hard and to make them easier so I always try to aim for creative reworks or buffs instead so I'd rather they added cannons on the other ships lol

    But I like the first response in here reworking the boats too that would work too! :)

    Yeah I saw some concept art too. Does this mean Galleon is currently overpowered? ;)
    The least played ship in the game since most people cannot be bothered with the horrors that the open crew so often spawns upon you.
