I feel an app for sot which helps you track personal statistics such as miles sailed, chest sold, chickens captured etc... would be amazing for the game and the engagement of the community. There could also be a section for news or something Rare wants to put in a spotlight. I feel this spotlight would make for more encounters and make players feel like there more in the loop. There could also be fun things for the community such as weekly Shrouded Ghost encounters (doesn’t exist btw) or how many emissarys are raised. This could be a perfect time to include community challenges such as make a billion gold in a week for new sails etc. Overall a companion app could be one of the best things to happen to The sea of thieves community and it’s engagement.
