It would be awesome to have a feature where if you have a storage crate next to a ship's barrel, you can quickly transfer rather than picking up on your person and then placing in the barrel.

I don't get your comment? If the board me, then can steal the storage crate - another good reason to be able to store on ship faster.

Or they grab the empty storage crate (assuming you spend some time to transfer any content to your barrels) go below deck and transfer all your goods to the crate, jump overboard and ta-da - you're left with only the goods you have on you; good luck surviving their next sail-by.

I think he means it to be one way. Next thing would be "transfer to ship" feature directly on loot barrels.

This is something I want really bad. It would make gearing up for voyages so much easier.
Only be able to send stuff directly to your ship would be amazing. I understand the limit on carrying items. But to send mats directly to their crates on the ship would be absolutely amazing.
