I love this game and I found the devil's roar to be a cool add on, but what if there was an icy based biome where your ship had to go through ice that could damage your ship and slippery ice that makes it hard to walk on and possibly wolves or skeleton wolves (just something different than the constant skeletons that pop up we need a variety of enemies not just skellies)
Another idea I had would be whirlpools that spawn randomly as another PvE aspect
One idea my boyfriend had was having a sort of naval armada that kills pirates, kinda like the British navy type of deal and they could have an island covered in soilders that is their main base, but has some good loot.
Lastly a cool death animation where if you choose to go to the ferry skeletons could pop up and drag your body under the ground

Great idea. I thought there were rumours of a frosty biome at some point. Would love to see this - and anything that makes the map bigger. :)
I'd like to see in no particular order.
Land animals
Panthers. Hang out in trees and stalk you. They are more native to tropics than wolves. But wolves in ice biome would be sweet.
Wild boars. Pigs angry cousins that hunt you.
Large spiders in caves. No explanations needed.
Water
Dolphins help lost pirates and fend of sharks in areas
Octopuses they could guard treasure underwater and drag you down if you get too close.
Crabs to catch and eat. Add to merchants.
More birds life on islands and following ships.Love the whirlpool idea it could spawn and you have to fight the water to keep you from going to meet Davy Jones. Water spouts would be a good environment threat. How bout quicksand?
