Ancient Fortune Items

    Why are these items so rare to find in normal and ashen athena voyages? I've yet to see villainous skulls or stronghold kegs drop even once.

    I think the Thieves' Haven runs are a really good addition, but with the ancient fortune items and the amount of gold you get from them, it makes Athena voyages kind of obsolete if you're not grinding miles for the commendation.

    The point of the runs was supposed to be adding variation right? So why limit people and force them to do one or the other? It would be so nice to be able to get progress on the ancient fortune items while doing Athena voyages, because it gets really tiring doing the same voyage to the exact same islands over and over.

    @skritsarn thieves haven run is made because of variation AND as a higher risk voyage, because everyone knows where you are going to...so it seems legit to me...higher risk/higher reward

    This. Makes sense to me!

    I would suggest only an ever so slight increase of the Ancient Fortune item drop rate for normal Athena’s though, so that they’re at least a viable (but slow) way to get these items.

    @chronodusk If you want to grind those items, raise the emmisary flag to reach grade 5. That way you will be rewarded with a guilded voyage, lower the flag, raise it again, reach grade 5 and repeat... In this voyage the rarest items are easier to get. Don't rush and enjoy the journey.

    Think about those poor players that farmed the Ghost ship liveries before the Ship of Fortune update... LOL

    I made about 7 or 8 that time, then I saw in Insider what's coming, so I stopped doing them 😎

    I find them most of the time when doing an athenas voyage. I'm athena level 10 so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
