Cant Play Sea of Thieves Cause of Update

    For some reason the game says I have the wrong version even though there are no updates available for the game

    First, go to the Microsoft store, then go to your library and click on SOT. Check for updates. if not uninstall then install.

    @agentsalty20 No you will not, it is cloud based saves (I believe). Only way to delete your pirate is if you went into the game itself and chose to delete it.

    I have installed and uninstalled my game on multiple xbox's for example and all my character information stayed.

    You should be good, if there is an issue you can always contact the Rare support team.
