Hello,
First of all, I know this is a delicate topic since many Console and PC players just pack in MEGA servers with huge alliances and make farming far too easy.
Currently
Currently, due to server size, up to 6 ships can be part of a single Alliance.
When a crew sells treasure or earns gold in any way, that crew will get 100% of their rewards, while other crews in the Alliance will each receive 50% of the gold value.
This 50% gold value does not seem fair and seems to be far too easy win and not roleplay. You have added the Emissary Content (debatable good idea or conception, but this is another topic) which make seas aggressive and this is a challenge.
And with the alliance system you allow people to pack on servers to easy win gold without harm, whatever the numbers.
Though this looks a bit like PvEing and is your way of saying OK guys, want safe seas you can do that, you should MAYBE NOT make the 50% reward flat but rather depending on the number of ships in the Alliance.
I mean, we are pirates after all, and Yaaargh the more we are, the less the loot.
IDEA :
< Remove 50% flat alliance shares
< Implement Ships-Amount dependant Rate to split it X ways depending on the number of ships.
Don't make ship size could or player amount. Too much of a hastle, but trimming those numbers down for fairness seems fine.
I played a bit on those servers. But just could not feel OK with the idea.
The amount of Gold, the safety of the seas, and the content access it gives, does not seem fair regarding people who don't commit to those servers.
What is your opinion ?
Sail Safe !
