I pride myself upon looking my best - or anyone's best, really. I like to wear only the finest finery in the Sea. And my crew knows it too. I know this because they all look up to me, and want to be like me.
So, imagine my surprise yesterday morning when I was preparing to set sail, when something odd happened. I put on my newest clothes, a bargain to die for, and shortly after, other crews that we encountered started laughing at me, even as my crew and I raided their loot.
I didn't understand. My crew later said that they were just ecstatically happy to see such extravagant fashion sense. Of course! That had to be it.
Later that night, I went to dance in front of my mirror as I always do, and became instantly mortified - I had no clothes! At all! Not even a wig or fake mustache! I was skin and bone and not much else...
Someone stole the clothes right off my back! No... That's impossible.
My crew lied to me! I was so embarrassed. As I lay down to rest that night, I had nightmares of reliving the reality of the day.
Oh poor, dear me. 😥
In all seriousness, there appears to be a new bug where, upon starting a game, all of your clothes and vanity items appear to be removed, and you can't re-equip anything, yet your crew can see it just fine as if everything never disappeared (similar to the green skeleton bug, but it applies solely to you, and you're not a skeleton, or green).
