Reaper's Bones Emissary Tables Should Be Hidden from View.

  • This company is the antithesis of all other trading companies. They, along with the Masked Stranger are a company that has worked in secrecy for several updates now, so why are the emissary tables out in the open? You would think the outposts would be in chaos if there were skeletons rattling in cages right next to the clothing shop. Look at what happened when Wanda rolled in on the Cursed Sails update.

My suggestion is to move or hide these emissary tables somewhere less frequented on the island.

Golden Sands and Sanctuary Outpost have several bridged islands that are not being used for anything. Ancient Spire has an entire spire and cave system with nothing in it. Morrow's Peak has a secret tunnel on the North East Side leading to the tavern. Galleon's Grave has a broken ship for a roof that would be perfect for a hidden emissary table.

I understand the other trading companies have to be within close proximity to make turning in treasure easier, but Reaper's Bones only have one island to turn in treasure, meaning the impact on gameplay is minuscule. Meanwhile, from a world-building perspective, this dark and secretive company is much more believable.

  • @seanethermore I don't see the problem there...why should it be somewhere hidden?

  • Would this be purely for a world building reason or do you believe it would have some sort of game-play benefit?

Everything tied to Wanda and the Reapers have been done in secret up to this point. Reaper's Hideout, Wanda's hidden workshop, the skull easter egg that opens a door to spoilers. Because the Reaper's Hideout is the only way to turn in loot for their faction, I don't think this would get in the way of gameplay, and I think this would add much more to world building.

  • @seanethermore I'm inclined to agree with you on this point.
