Arena hack?

    Today I joined a Sloop Open Arena match.

    During one battle a guy was running around on my boat ignoring my sword attacks. I struck him several times... maybe 10-12 times...and seemingly couldn't damage him.

    My ping to the server was 85 and I had no trouble killing other pirates. This guy seemed to know I couldn't harm him though as he simply went on about his business knowing I couldn't harm him.

    Anyone else see this in the Arena?

    I realize this could be my internet but all things considered, I don't believe it to be.

    I'm pretty sure damage is controlled server side, so you can't create a hack to tell the server to not give you damage. There have been bugs in Arena in the past where players will be unable to damage anyone. I think it's somewhat rare, and I don't know if it was ever fixed.

    @d3adst1ck That is EXACTLY what happened to me ...TODAY. So this is not fixed yet.

    Too bad. Makes Arena pretty much unplayable.

    Are you sure he wasn't your crewmate?
