Is there a way for toxic player to make themselves invisible?

  • I'm confused, this is the second time I got killed by random toxic player kid who somehow was aboard my ship, sets my ship on fire magically, starts hitting me from behind then later poofed in, and his ship later poofed in? Is there a glitch where you can make yourself invisible? I couldn't believe that kid actually camped on island for 2 hours after he gave up chasing me for 1hr, he literally camps on the island waiting for me to do part of the voyage just to harass me lma o. Am I'm missing something here besides one of those stupid people who likes to sink random people because they're anger their life sucks lol?

    Oh this was on xbox btw, and not sure if I can give his name out or not, I did block him but unfortunally the toxic kid didnt leave yet so I decided to join another server.

    It’s very likely that he was simply tucked on your ship. If your new to the game or for some stroke of luck haven’t encountered them very often they can be frustrating to deal with.

    If you encounter someone on your ship and they seemingly disappear it’s very likely they are tucked on your ship and are waiting for you to accumulate loot for them to steal. It’s quite common nowadays

    You can generally tell these players apart because they will be dressed in all black attire.

    That was the thing, there was no mermaid, no sound, nothing? The ship I just po it down the sail, he somehow makes the fire pop up, hitting me from behind with no sound, then pops up. Same with the ship from distance he somehow brought it over popped up as well, that's what confused me so bad was how he did the invisibility, no mermaid, no sounds? Is it the connection thing? One thing I thought was unusual was I somehow got kicked from server randomly, then I rejoined, then 5min later he did all that popping up from invisibility?

  • @linkline

    That to me sounds more like a latency issue then an exploit. It can be equally annoying to deal with since there is really nothing that can be done about it.

    What I suggest is to have your ping showing at all times, this is almost a sure fire way to tell if it’s a latency problem. If you see a ping above say 100 when you join a server try switching servers

    It can be found in the settings menu. (I’m not sure if you can actually show your ping on Xbox as I’m mainly a pc player and haven’t tried to turn it on with my xbox)

  • One thing you got right is he did dress in black cloths, but what cracked menup hard was how angry he was and he got too impatient decided to pull all that off on me for 8k loot after hour chasing me then another 2hr waiting for me while I'm eating afking when I had a hunch he was still somehow there at the island and somehow popped up on me when I decided not to pick anything up and dropped sail lol.

    I did congrats him for his 3hour work all that just to harass and sink me, was my first time being sunk after 2 weeks grinding and outrunning all toxic players XD

    I just had to ask how he pulled off that invisibility if its him kicking me off then somehow I'm not loading him or something, that was new lol. Wish I had it recorded, it didnt record that one gameplay for some reason

    Aww that would been useful to see ping, I dont think theres an option for it on the xbox :( obviously I do prefer PC just dont have the money rn, but it is nice to set xbox server only avoiding potential aimbots/hackers is the benefit. But you could be right might if been latency, I just had to ask that was a first time I randomly got kicked off and then he lulls all that on me lol

    You where definitely dealing with a tuck lord then, these players love the thrill of the unknown and tend to spend hours hidings on ships and islands waiting for their time to strike.

    Sounds like you ran into a high latency tuck lord unfortunately.

    I once had a dude tucked on my ship and I just sailed around talking to other ships. Wasting his time. I ended up finding his ship and sailed it around leaving him sitting on my ship by himself

  • @linkline

    There are ways to keep the mermaid from spawning. If he was already on your ship then a mermaid doesn't spawn. Mermaid disappears after a bit if a person is on your ship.

    I won't give you all the hints and tips because its better to learn them and also hey, its sneaky stealy trade secrets :). But it doesn't sound like hacks or a glitch. He was hiding somewhere on your boat.

    I've sat on a boat for 2 hours before just for an athena. Had a crew-mate hide on an island for 3 hours for an athena.

    If the player knows, they will wait.

    I trolled a ship a LOOOOOOOONG time ago for about 5 hours. We had someone hiding on our ship and we knew he was there. We trolled him in open mic saying we were doing an athena. We werent doing an athena. They hid for the whole time lol.

    People are very patient when they want something.

  • What I can suggest is to go onto YouTube and watch a guy named Pace22. He is widely considered the best pvp player by a large portion of the community and he loves his tucks

    Has for the a bus I’ve language the best I can say is to screen shot or record it and report them.

    Thank you so much for this awnser lol, first time I got outplayed in a long time, I love soloing a brig and grinding up to 12hrs-18hrs sometime sleeping for 24hr to recover XD

    I had to ask how he did that, I knew it wasnt hacks since it's xbox and had to mentioned first time being forced kicked off server but yeah that explains so much, thank you :)

    He gave me a huge smile for some reason, I guess my satisfaction making him do all that but also taught me to be aware of that too lma o

    Now I know to leave the area and sink my own ship out of the map loool

  • Let's see if this guy meets all the requirements...

    (OK) - New account;
    (OK) - Complains that you were attacked by pirates in a pirate game;
    (OK) - Call others kid, toxic or any other offense for no apparent reason;
    (OK) - Doesn't add anything useful to the community;
    (OK) - Repeated posts on with other words just so it doesn't appear to be the same post.

    Nothing new here, you can ignore this post, it is not worth our time

    Uhh okay...? I don't know when did I make the account, thought it was a year ago, I just wanted to see if I missed a glitch or not lol but the latency made sense.

    You shouldn't be bypassing the AFK filters so you can go an eat for 2 hours. If you need to eat for two hours then you should log off, don't take up the slot of a ship on already small servers.

    It's the xbox server, it was just me and him, I didn't really AFK, well kind of did but I had to eat so I kept him busy to prevent him doing it to others lol.

    One thing you got right is he did dress in black cloths, but what cracked menup hard was how angry he was and he got too impatient decided to pull all that off on me for 8k loot after hour chasing me then another 2hr waiting for me while I'm eating afking when I had a hunch he was still somehow there at the island and somehow popped up on me when I decided not to pick anything up and dropped sail lol.

    You have no way of knowing who is on the server, bypassing measures put in to keep servers active is not cool. Also just because you don't like PvP doesn't mean that others are scared of it.

    Oh I know very easily by scouting and checking recent players :) by the way you might want to use the private message, topic of my question was already answered, thanks :)

    You don't know what your'e talking about, if you think you can check who is on your server by using recent players on Xbox then you are grossly misinformed.

    Cool story bro, thanks :]

    No worries kid, hopefully one day you will learn the basic game mechanics so you don't come to the forum to create a post implying someone is cheating because you got easily outplayed due to you lack of knowledge. Stay frosty.

    Again, cool story bro :] learn to use the private message ehh? Thanks :]

    Great comeback. I'd rather call you out for your nonsense in public, and who knows, maybe another new player will see how not to make themselves look silly? Then at least part of this thread would be remotely useful.

    I didn't come here to git gud at comebacks stupid lol, good job on the topic of this post! Bet you're proud and you're gonna leave another comeback :] I'm out.

    That's probably for the best, by the sounds of it you need to concentrate on 'giting gud' at the game. I wish you all the best in your quest to improve.
