This has happened twice to me now. I have seen active FOTD with the cloud still in the sky but when I arrived at the fort the door is somehow opened before the fort is finished. The key is not on the map either. I'm not sure if this is a known exploit but this has happened multiple times now and I do not know how it happens

Look through the floor above the vault and see what is in there.

@xadm1r4lx It's possible a key came to that server through a merge. I've merged with a key a few times. On the new server, the door is open so the key can be saved and used once the fort is activated a second time.
(This) plus sometimes if your outside a fort on a merge and you have the key for the fort, the door will be open and there will be loot inside. Happened to me once and i really annoyed some dude in a brig by using my spare key to open a door of a uncompleted fort could only imagine if someone went through the hassle of clearing before they realised the loot has already been stolen. Who said piracy had no efficiency? 🤣
