I've had this idea floating around for a while and i think it would be pretty fun but also a new dynamic to the community and players to earn gold and have fun while doing it.
So one of things i have noticed on the seas, is theres a lot of players who have more than 4 friends that get restricted to playing separately due to the 4 players in a crew. Max.
Now i understand the concern of the devs and a lot of players. Big groups of friends, or clans taking over servers and ruining the experience for everyone else trying to do there thing.
However i think with these few recommendations you could balance it out quite nicely with out breaking the game past its limits:-
-2 ships from the same pirate clan at once on a server Up to maximum of 8 players. Up to maximum of 2 clans per server.
-Aggressive clans that have more than 1 ship that continuously attack players not part of a clan, Have the probability of krakens, skeleton galleons and megaladons spawns increase against either of the active clan ships.
Essentially as in game check and balance
-Skull forts being attacked by clans when active with more than one ship will spawn a random skeleton ship every 3 rounds in relation to size of the crew of each ship, rounding up.
-Clans that complete the FoTD will have 2 random skeleton Galleons attack them 90 seconds after leaving the radius of island.
-All gold will be split 60/40 by clans cashing in at a outpost. 60% will go to the crew selling the said loot.
As i said this is just some recommendations to balance it out, i think of lot of these things will make it hard for clans to compete but they can thrive if they can work together leading to some great stories and experiences, while getting the community to play more as a group instead of divided !
Would love to hear what people think?
