On the newly beloved Tall Tale "The Heart of Fire" is a very well made and fun tail to play, and I'm sure most everyone will agree.
However, There are a few faults in this tall that I think the public and Rare should be aware of...
- The first problem I ran into, was when I sailed to Devil's Thirst, when I got there it was exceedingly glitch'y; the textures were not loading in, no notifications were showing up, multiple lag spikes (which I don't usually get), the whole nine yards.
- The second problem I ran into is that in the Chamber with the ghost ship and where Jim is located, the chest is very easy to miss, I almost missed it, if I was not looking, but I did find it. It would be nice for the chest to be more visible, but this is a minor one.
- The third problem I ran into was a heavy one, the water fall jump you come across looks almost impossible to jump with the chest in hands (considering the avatar can not run), and when I looked down, I saw what looked like a symbol on a door like structure. So, I dropped the chest down there thinking I was going to be down there a some point afterwards, it would be very helpful if some way it could be fixed.
- My forth and final point, which contradicts with point three, have some way for us to get back in. When I got out I had no idea that the bottom of the waterfall was not apart of getting out, but that was not my issue, since I make mistakes like that. The MAIN problem was that when I got out, I could not get back in. I attempted everything, going back to the exit opening which had a nonreturnable ledge, going back to the frond door which was locked, relighting the pedestal on top of the island to see if it would open the door, killing myself to see if it would take me back to a check point, and all results soured. Since my chest was still stuck in the cave, the only thing I could think of was restarting the tale which I was not going to do, considering that about 2 hours went by, so some way back in the cave would be awesome.
I know this was long but I needed to get my point across, considering that more people could/have experienced similar states or conditions. I know it is still fairly new, but things need to be fixed, especially the first and forth points. But it was still a good and fun Tall Tale tho. If any person has experienced this or something like this, then please post about it, or any other means of contacting Rare, so Rare becomes aware of the problems and what they can fix. Thank you for your time.
