So let me say firstly the new Ashen curse is really cool and well designed, however it's far too easy to obtain and I for one will never use it over my Gold Curse due to how common it is.
I feel any and all new Tale Tales should be locked unless the player has completed all previous Tales at least one time, this ensures that any corresponding curses keep their rarity upon the sea. Considering how cosmetic driven the game is I feel Curse's should always be a grind to obtain.
The Gold curse is that much cooler because of how much of a grind is involved to unlock it.
Curses are few and far between on SoT so it should take a serious amount of time and effort to get them.
