Future Curse ideas

    Hello pirate lords,

    So, after looking at the curses and really enjoying the ashen curse, we need more like this because personally the order of souls and gold hoarder are sub par.

    So here are some idea's that I think might be good. Also curses should be easy to obtain and not a drag or grind so everyone young and old can obtain.

    1. Ghost curse - This could be a ghost curse to match the ferry of the dammed, so when you get pirate legend, put on the full ghost set, throw the curse on and boom, you look like a full ghost with the cool effect :D

    2. Prismatic - Picture - Yes I know it's from Fortnite but the style is stunning, so why not a skin like this all sparkly and glittery... Maybe it can be a tale about a legendary pirate called Unicorned (To go with figure heads) and it's called Prismatic or something.

    3. Skylight - Picture - Yes again I know it's Fortnite but this is the only way I can show you all what I mean. So, the sky in Sea of Thieves is stunning, why not a "curse of the heavens" where it's the sky effect all over your body so when you move, the stars move on the body.. Could do a tall tale about where we fight a pirate called... Captian sundown etc

    4. Reaper - So, we all know the Grim Reaper etc, obviously it is too scary to add to the game for kids and I doubt they would give us a pure skelenton skin or glowing green (Like the death) but I must admit, running around a glowing green skelenton would be fun! Anyway, what about a skin where the skin itself is all super tight like a mummified corpse so the skin is around the bones, making it like the grim reaper and this could be obtained easy like dropping off 5 reaper chests.

    5. Fire and Ice style - Picture - So the photo I've posted is just a rough estimate but what about two pirates, the Ice Lord and Fire Demon... We kill the ice lord and we get a glow ice sparkling effect skin... Kill the fire demon and we get a red glowing fire effect.. These should be full body and not partial you know. The same goes for green glowing would be acid or nature effect from the nature skellies...

    What do you think? It's just little things to help add more customisation to the game for players with different and unique stuff.

    Too off-base, IMO. These are supposed to be curses that are grounded in the lore of the SoT - not something that makes you look amazingly spectacular.

    Looking awesome an spectacular is important and why I put it as a suggestion for something I want to see and maybe others do too.

    Also the story of Sea of thieves is never ending, new pirates can circle and come around, which is why I put the comments.

    @galactic-geek - SoT is always changing and adding new content with "lore" and what it is, so new pirates and tales are and can always be added. We know the main big bad guy who we will never fight or meet because that would end the tale of Sea of Thieves, then ANOTHER one would come along and be a constant cycle...

    So instead, I get Jesus's point... I also like the above idea's and would see a difference in player customising because everyone runs around with the same and right now there are only 3 curses... One the gold to obtain is just madness (Heck repeating a tale 3 times is madness, but that's my opinion, only the newest tale they added different paths which makes sense but otherwise it's silly).. Order of souls is just not worth it and the new ashen curse is worth wild so far, so more options be great.

    Heck, I would love to see maybe all 3 of these as just curses to purchase in the store and I would buy all of them because they would look good.

    New pirates sent down by the pirate lord to battle us and combat us... New tale.... new curses... There is always a way!

    I can see the prismatic one happening with a slight tweak: base it off the aurora and it would work.

    A ghost/damned curse could be cool or a skeleton curse that falls inline with the Lore to do with skeletons being pirate who involved themselves in cursed gold

    I’m all for more curses but personally I feel like more glowy effects is the last thing the game needs.
    Keep it pirate-y. Half skeleton transformations. With half a skull face could be cool/ or arm.
    Coral reef growing off your shoulder and face. And other sea creature based curse effects.
