This emote will cause your pirate to pull out a handful of planks and frantically construct a barrel, promptly hiding inside it. Its a moving disguise with pros and cons.
This barrel will look identical to any other generic barrel and you can even move around, sprouting your feet below and shadily sneaking along.
The idea is about hiding in plain sight.
It does not come free though.
To activate the emote you must have all 5 planks in our inventory and once you disable it, you must gather another 5 to do it again.
If you are hit, or if you run it will also destroy the barrel instantly.
You can activate this whilst in water too and will float along.
You could use this to your advantage hiding among barrels near shipwrecks and generally at sea and being harpooned will even take you over like a normal barrel.
They will realise though that they cant open it which will signal ots not a normal barrel and infact a player.
Mermaids will see you as safe if in a barrel so it could be a way to travel without their interference, However the balance to this is that barrels are really slow and very visible just like a rowboat...so basically a really slow rowboat.
Ive even thought of some little one liners you can say whilst inside it.
“Keep rolling rolling rolling”
“Barrel of laughs in here”
“Watch where you put that sword,” (Pop up pirate easter egg)
“I ‘wood’end of expected this,”
Given the cartoony theme of SOT this would fit right in.
