I really enjoy your game and i don't plan on stopping. I had an idea where we can create an ice biome, where you have to watch out for icebergs and there is a new "boss" or whatever you call the kraken and megalodon. It could be the "ocean crawler" which is a giant crab. There are many possibilities with it like it could be riding an iceberg or it makes it could use whirl pools like the one in the end of the little mermaid but less intense. I've put a lot of thought into this so please contact me. Thanks- Jelly Sniper228

A "cold" biome has been talked about before...often.
Have a look at this ....
Frozen Fangs, a popular concept within the community.@piratecraggy
Yo i was lookin at that stuff and all. Its amazing but a big thing i want to see is the crab but it would be called the "ocean crawler" to go along with the set kind of like how how we have the kraken set.Would be cool to see it in the Southwest.
Some small islands with asian theme.
We already have some cloth that fits it. The Ashen Dragon stuff and all this.
Although i also like to have the ocean crawler as a boss battle in deep caves like Tamatoa
I think a real Ashen Dragon spitting fire on your ship as a rare encounter would be very cool.
I mean look at the recent content we got.
Ashen Dragon cloth what fits perfectly tjhe Five Winds Region, weapons, tools, ship...
I cant believe they dont make it a thing.
And it all perfectly fits the Sea of five Winds.
@bugaboo-bill technically, as Sea of Thieves is basically a "place" out of real world, where ghosts exists, dead return to life, magic is a thing and etc. there is no reason why couldn't famous pirates and seafarers of Medieval age also find it somehow and stay there. Literally a Valhalla for warriors, with endless alcohol and fights between each other.
@crazyzombie6734
I once read a genius post about how magic is not the answer to all of this.
Unfortunately i cannot find it anymore, was in a different forum of an already dead game.Yeah you can explain everything with it, because we maybe passed a gate in the Bermuda triangle and now we are in space, so why not add Marsians.
I'm a viking specialist. My surname and ancestors are danish and lived not far away from the Skagerrak/Jammerbugten what my surname is related to.
Vikings did no ship to ship combat.
Their longboats were for travel and fast movement on the sea and rivers. Easily transportable even to pass some land.
Have you ever sailed a longboat?
I did in Roskilde, Viking ship Museum 😉Thing is, Vikings and ice region dont fit in the Carribean setting for me.
All we have does fit into a fantasy Carribean Pirate setting.
Ice and Vikings do not.
And no doubt i love Vikings.
I did LARP's for some years as a Karl/Viking Warrior.
So it's not that i dislike ice region or vikings, it's just my opinion that it doesnt fit.I wont quit the game if they implement it, but when i'm asked about my opinion, i say what i think.
The Sea of Five Winds maybe also doesnt fit very well, but this is lore from the very beginning and part of the Art Book.
@bugaboo-bill ok, well, vikings are maybe really "going too far"with all this, but a snow&ice biome with own dangers looks definitely interesting for the sake of variety. On the other hand, I can't say, I don't like regular Caribbean islands - sure, graphics is deliberately unrealistic, but it is still great, and the sea alone is nothing I've ever seen before.
@lem0n-curry well, it can be interesting - like do not leave your ship on anchor near ice fields/coast or be ready to see it stuck in ice when you return. Basically, same stuff as with volcanoes, just less lethal. Also, cold water freezes you to death unless you use some solution to give yourself more time, for example roasted hot food+alcohol combo.
