Key Master spawn rate

    Key master spawn rate is too low. They spawn at about 16 to 1 compared to ashen guardians. Why did you guys put so much ease in acquiring chests and not keys? I mean you can simply purchase a chest voyage but not a key voyage? What is the point of adding content that focusses on the ability to open chests when you can sail for hours and never find a key master? I don’t mind hunting for things but this is ridiculous.

    Yea that math is wrong.

    Just sail around small island and you will find them in no time.

    I just went to four random islands and each had a key master.

    Visit smaller islands. Then spend time on them, random guardian spawns.

    Can’t find how people are having such troubles

    Try fishing without bait.

    Best results: fish during the day, anywhere but a large island (although a pond on a large island is also fine, a la mermaid's hideaway)

    I had all 5 fire tomes by the second day of the current update, and I just went fishing in the pond at Devil's Ridge.

    Rare I do believe listened to our fuss about this! The keys guys seem to have priority over the guardian or the regular captains now!

    Thanks rare! I was able to collect keys and just bought the chests 😁
