Pirate bounty hunting

    I'm not too sure how you could do it exactly but it would be cool if you gain some kind of reputation or bar you fill for killing other pirates and when it gets full or to a point you have a bounty put on your head for other pirates to claim if they managed to kill you/shink your ship. Thoughts ?

    this is a good idea, maybe some kind of vendetta/revenge system in which you earn some gold or doubloons from killing and sinking a crew that recently sunk you.

    the problem with these "artifically constructed" rules is that they are exploitable - people do it in agreement - and it punishs people who defend themself succesfully. MAke them the killers, although they only defended themself.

    people can also get triggered and it would incentivice PvP and to kill on sight.

    therefore i dislike bounties.

    edit: also because of the sessionabsed character of the game, this wont carry over to another server, so its more or less worthless.
    You can roleplay and interact with people and set a bounty by your words, what about that?
