Hack?

    Yesterday I was doing skull forts with some people I met on LFG on Xbox, and we came across a Brig at a fort, we sunk them and one of their team mates were jumping around like a monkey making it near impossible to hit them, they then cannon balled our ship by themselves, and then fixed our holes, then raised our anchor, then dropped it. The really strange thing is we were all hitting him while he brought up the anchor, or dropped it, and when he was fixing the boat - he was taking no damage, he just did what he did as if we were not even there, but then he was able to kill us! We couldn't hit him, he stood still - he was mocking us.

    I am assuming this is some kind of game breaking PC hack - he seemed by his actions he knew he was invincible. At any rate I cannot wait until the next update tomorrow - hopefully this is no longer a problem for me (console player)

    Assuming this is a PC-only hack helps no one. Players on both platforms have reported invincibility bugs multiple times, and players on both platforms can cheat and become invincible. The fight you had, all of you hitting him while he went about his tasks, to no avail, does seem like he was doing it purposefully, as most forms do not prevent being thrown about by weapons. Your opt-out won't save you from these encounters, but know that they are exceptionally rare in any case, I've seen two in my year and a half of playing this game. Report the player for hacking and move on.

    hi pirates,
    A few months ago, with my brother, we were building a sloop fortress.
    A galleon arrives, and begins an endless battle until a moment, my brother returns from the ship of the damned and decides to go on their galleon ...
    He goes into the captain's room and takes a chest that was placed to put it in the water ...
    on leaving the room, he comes across one of the pirates who shoots him. MY BROTHER TAKES NO DAMAGE! invincible, and the funniest thing is that the enemy pirate did not take damage either ... oO
    It was REALLY strange! but really funny.
    There was nothing they could do to kill him.
    But it was not a hack, it was a bug.

    it's not a hack I think it was hit reg bugging out again

    it's not hacking from what I read it was a hit reg bug
