After being swarmed by skellys, chased by a meg, chased by an enemy galleon and fighting two skeleton sloops. I finally got my very first Athena's Chest.
It took a while but it was worth it in the end.
Just a lot more to go to reach Athena 10.

From the looks of my achievements on the Xbox Console Companion (Can't tell if its in British or American time) but it is either
12th June 2019 or 6th December 2019 (Pretty sure its June).
Joined SoT in February.University got in the way and I just didn't have the time to play it.

92 actually, you need 93 Normal Athena's or 62 Ashen Athena's to reach Level 10 from what the Wiki says.@foxywiththemoxy said in Finally got my first Athena!:

Personally, I stick to Devil’s Roar. The map size is less, the wind is great for the most part, and it’s worth more than the base version.

I did the bulk of mine in the Roar.
Think it was only 2-3 ... normal world.
It's usually pretty quiet out there, and ...well.. the rewards so much better.

Just got to Athena 2 thanks to unlocking some commendations whilst doing a Gilded Wilds Voyage (found and fought an Ashen Fort, Two-Faced Scoundrel is a pain to kill.)
