The new dialogue is displayed even if you don't do the maiden voyage btw. He just references it.

@Gundy-the-Shark Yes I saw! The long awaited PL content looks like it's finally on the horizon. "Someday there may be a threat only Pirate legends can handle." We all know who that's gonna be, it's Flameheart!
