So when the new update first came out, it seemed like almost every other island would have a random Ashen guardian or key Master running around along with the random captains that drop those special loot maps. Now that I've completed all the commendations for the new update, I've noticed that its been 3 or 4 days since I've seen a random ashen guardian or key master. Do you have to have an ashen mission down in order for the random guys to show up? Because I thought for sure I had come across them without having any mission down on the table. ???

I don’t believe so, but I’ve definitely come across much more when an Ashen voyage is down vs. when there isn’t
@thetwistedtaste yeah we've been doing Order of Souls missions the last few days.. and haven't seen 1 ashen anything during that whole time. So I'm thinking they might get turned off if your doing certain types of missions perhaps. not sure.
Idk I run into them all the time. I was camped out on plunder valleys se beach and this skely just kept spawning. I had 4 maps by the time I left. I was way more concerned with doing tt completion at the time so I didnt even dig them up.
But heads up they still spawn. And key masters now drop maps instead of just a key so you have to dig it up. Also, I don't see glowing aura on them anymore. Idk why just a note.
@ram2k14 I've noticed that the flame effect around them seems to be gone. We've encountered plenty of Key Masters that weren't glowing red and dropped a map to a key instead of the key itself. We've also found non glowing Guardians as well, but the ones we found were on the bigger islands and the riddles for that island.
