Rare, I love your game, I love the sea dog sets, and I almost have all of them unlocked for triumphant sea dog clothing... but what were you thinking??? Making people grind over 200 games for clothing shouldn’t be happening in the first place, sure it’s a grind but it’s not fun, arena load times are still terrible, and making people put that much time into a mode is insane, you guys seriously need to rebalance it, and while I’m here pirate legend weapons should’ve never been locked behind 240 wins, it’s should’ve been given out to legends, or at least 100 wins. Please change your strategy because it is absurd at the amount of time you want us to put in

Im in total agreement its absurd what rare needs to do is not listen to the super sweaty's/try hards who make a living off mom or stimulus checks or unemployment or just twitch stream 24/7 this game has players in it who want to look fancy too but just dont have the time with an actual life without having to grind it out for a year and then some. I love the colors blue and silver in fact its the only really appealing outfit and ship to me so many reds and greens or mundane colors i could throw up and its literally just cosmetics not like anything comes with stats like it should locked behind a ridiculous pvp wall where half the battle you enter you end up on a sloop or galleon alone and keep getting loses its very tedious and unbalanced just for some dang clothes.
And p.s the ones disputing saying dont change it more than likely live in moms basement with a catheter in and a soda hat on with several bags of cheetos on stand by. Typically people who sound like poindexter saying "get gud" as if everybody has nothing more to life than sea of thieves community is toxic as all get out and the moderators care more about peoples foul language in the forums than actually being helpful towards people better wish for enjoyment much like the volcano forum. Just worried about people swearing rather than the frustration behind it for people like me who work a job as basically a punching bag for autistic children who just wanna unwind and enjoy the sea after work but gets sunk after a hour plus long voyage by an inconsistent volcano rendering the entirety of my entertainment pointless and frustrating. Rare do better
And to boot im willing to bet ive put more money in this game than most try hards have in the emporium just to get ships i actually like the aesthetic of ive bought several ship sets but who cares about the lesser gamer who works hard for a living and just wants to destress on the seas of toxic humbugs.

Personally I don't mind that things take a long time to unlock. Maybe I am slightly more old school but I always ran into players in various games with super amazing items/cosmetics and learning how they acquired them and how they either were incredibly hard, time consuming or not even available anymore made it even more exciting to me.
It makes me want to put in the time and focus once things are then presented as a challenge or just available for a special occasion to know that I can then be the one with something cool that is sought after by many.
Especially in this instance. As we are fortunate enough that it is not power shift items we are talking about it is cosmetics. I have only played arena for 3 hours in total so far. It resulted in 5 wins. That means I need about 141 more hours in this game mode. Does that sound insane? Sure it is a lot of time.
But the main take is that, nobody is forcing me to do this. I don't have to quit my job to grind for this to stay competitive. We are talking about cosmetic items and for that reason alone I am not a big fan of making everything easier to acquire.Just my two cents, thank you for reading :)

First of, thank you for working such a hard and at times unforgiving job to make a difference for these people, I am sure it means the world to them. Or at least I hope so.
Second. I get you want to unwind after work, so do I and I think pretty much everyone wants this after a long and rough day at work. But to be fair, it is not Rare's job to make everyone happy around the world. They have created a great video game that many people seem to enjoy, but it is not for everyone, that is clear. If this game or anything in general, whether that be a movie, song or milk brand cause discomfort or unhappiness instead of the opposite. Then we have our own free will to seek this somewhere else.
We are not forced to play this game and if I were experiencing more pain than pleasure, you can be damned sure I would take my time somewhere else.
