Purple Light ghost!

    My friends and I have come across an interesting anomaly/bug. Today we joined in to do some Ashen Chest voyages. When we joined in and were doing piratey things, we started seeing this weird pink/purple light flash. We were confused as we had never seen it before. After seeing it a whole lot we figured out that it happened more or less when we switched what was in our hand. It move around us when we switched to our swords and in a flash would disappear. Has anyone else seen this?

    It's a graphical error.

    I think the Firebombs do it, and afterward there may be a purple haze at times. My crew sunk a skeleton sloop, and thr entire thing was purple under the water and stayed there too.

    Whatever this purple thing is, it's not supposed to be happening.

    @stonewall93 had this too, but I was in a busy situation when it happened, so I couldn't really look closer to see what it's about and then it was gone...

    I too have been experiencing this Purple hue around my character as well as notice it on others, it has saved me from being snuck up on a few times too.
    It is similar to holding a purple cursed cannon ball in your hands but seems to be happening with almost all equipment when switched.

    It's your cursed cannon balls if you had green ones it would be green

    @stonewall93 yea were you holding a pink/ purple lantern, cause usually it flashes the colour of my lantern, and i have always thought it was my lantern

    The lantern doesn't do it,
    Cursed balls do since October's update. I noticed it and checked a few things to figure out what was going on. Firebombs do too but they're reddish. Now, I saw purple reflecting in the water when I was doing the new fleet earlier, just figured it was the Cursed balls from our ships. Saw it again when I accidentally sailed into the fleet trigger area ( no cursed balls or fireballs in hand) so there is a new weird glow lol.
