@targasbr have you play the State of Decay before it's a single player game where you can do story missions and the sort but you can also invite your friends to play with you in this single player game versus a bunch of AI That's it. A private server where there's no people in it and nothing to do a full-fledged single player game with story missions for you and your friends can have an adventure in this sea of Thieves World without having to worry about a bunch of toxic try-hards killing you over over and over again while you're trying to do a tall tale

@targasbr toxic in the the video game is you minding your own business and having a bunch of high-level people spawn kill you while you're trying to do a tall tale and play the game

What you describe in your opening paragraph isn't single-player. Single player implies playing by yourself without friends. You want to remove the PvP portion of the game, that would by extension make a PvE server due to the lack of fighting between players. Having it invite only makes it Private as well. Combine those together and a Private PvE server accurately describes what you are asking for. Just say you want a Co-op PvE Campaign mode. The reason you are getting dog piled right now, because you are poorly conveying what you are asking. It's not always the readers fault for poorly comprehending a post when the post itself poorly communicates it's purpose.

If multiple people are misinterpreting a topic, their is a good chance the topic is failing to properly communicate it.

You are right, there is a lot of things I don't know in life. What I do know however, is what this game is about and what it was advertised as: A multiplayer game where I would encounter other living beings within a shared world. Nowhere was it ever advertised or sold otherwise.

Did you know there is a reason for that? It's not an oversight, that's how the game is meant to be played, as an ecosystem where you take part and do (at least try to do) whatever you want like engaging other players, or taking part in story-mode campaign, within the same world as other players.

Something I also know (dang I guess I know more than I thought!), is how to avoid and escape people when I don't want them to engage me, and how to defend myself (or at least try) when I can't prevent it. I'd suggest you learn this as well! You might enjoy the game a bit more! I would also suggest you don't take loss and defeat so seriously, it's part of the game.

@bloodybil okay I got to say again it's a suggestion I know it's a multiplayer game but it doesn't have to be it could just be a a game to play with some friends in spare time or have a way so we don't have to deal with toxic people shouting racial slurs wall spawn killing and 17 times before eventually just quitting the game not really fun for everyone except the people respond killing us other than they'll do it to someone else till they quit the game and then keep doing it until you know there's not a lot of people playing the game doesn't seem fun now does it and there's nothing we can do cuz I'm just not really good at PVP I just want to play a pirate game just cuz of the Pirate game doesn't mean it has to be so boring cuz the only thing I want to do is fish and do tell Tales but I can't because I get killed are people who are better than me so I just want to play a pirate game that's it

You can scuttle to avoid getting spawned and killed multiple time. Again, keep an eye on the horizon and you will be ready if people are coming for you. Losing can be unpleasant and straining, but that's how games go, you win some you lose some.

It literally has, that's the whole point of the game, it's a PVE/PVP shared world game!

It is a game you can totally play with friends in spare time, I don't see your point. You don't have to deal with spawn killing with the click of 1 button: scuttle. Racist slurs should be reported, and you can mute other crews text+microphone and you don't ever have to deal with it.

Well I wasn't good at PVP either when I started and I learned, and now I quite enjoy it. You say it doesn't have to be so boring, what is less boring than going on an adventure, finding treasures and doing tales while battling other nefarious crews? Some people are better than others and it's fine, don't discourage yourself, practice pvp, maybe hop in arena for fun and in time you will stand against attackers and bullies and give them a taste of their own medicine!(minus the bullying of course).

@bloodybil I have to Scuttle my ship I might as well quit because if I'm doing it tall tale all of it's gone I mean I can stand losing my money I don't really care about that but a tall tales really long frustrating and I understand I can mute but sometimes I can't hear another crew if they are being friendly so I assume they are dangerous since they're not answering me and I forgot that I muted them

Sinking or scuttling is perfectly normal and not something that should be taken so dramatically. If killed while doing a tale, the next time you attempt it will be even faster since you will know what to do, what steps to take, what puzzle to solve.

If you don't want to mute everyone, just mute and report the players you find offensive.

I play this game both with a crew and solo, and some nights, I can spend hours doing my things without seeing other ships. The game can technically be singleplayer some days. Some others it's not. The game is as unpredictable as the sea, and that's the beauty of it.

Jumping in because I like history and because it's fun to argue over trivial words such as buccaneer, privateer, and pirate.

Weren't corsairs in the Mediterranean?
Yet, Kidd is infamous for his time in the Indian Ocean and some in the Caribbean.
Kidd started his famous voyage initially as a privateer.
In the end, Kidd was hung as a pirate.

Interesting museum in the United States is the pirate museum in St. Augustine, Florida. Alot to take in for such a small museum but they have pirate flags and many other fascinating items to include pirate movies.

Since when is disagreement trolling. Here we have people who bought a PvEvP game, and are perfectly content with exactly what they paid for? Why buy a game with PvP when all your going to do is crawl over to the forums to remove that key aspect?

I don't understand what the fuss is over having an alternative to the standard PvP game type.

I don't understand the fuss when people lose their loot to other players. Followed by rants soon followed after on the forums to take away Pirates in the Pirate game. Why buy a Pirate game and not play the role of an actual Pirate?
