Game invites

So I've been having this problem where even when I've been confirmed for a LFG post I get no invite notification even after they message me and say they've sent one? (I should mention I'm on PC) I've been looking on the microsoft side of this issue but so far I've seen nothing so I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue? And if so how did y'all fix it?
