Does anyone know if we will be seeing the Obsidian set on the store? (Pistol, Blunderbuss, Eye of reach, drum, lantern, spyglass, mega phone, and the pocket watch) Or are they still available. If not where can I get them?

There is no precedent for anything of the Obsidian/Onyx set to be sold in game anywhere; it has always been given as a reward drop for watching a stream or a promo of some kind.
With that said, I fully believe there will be opportunities to obtain pieces of this set in the future.
Currently you can obtain the Obsidian 6 pack (Eye of Reach, Speaking Trumpet, Lantern, Drum, Spyglass, and Pocket Watch) by watching the weekly developer stream and being quick/lucky enough to grab one of the codes they put on screen at random. They do this every week.
They are in the process of giving away ship pieces, so stay tuned for that. There could be a new giveaway for the ship pieces any day now.
Other items like the Flintlock and Blunderbuss are quite a bit more rare, and I don't expect many other opportunities for those.
The Outfit was a preorder bonus for the game, so I do not expect for that to re-appear at all.

Well, they brought back the Mercenary set, so it always pays to keep an eye out.
That's something else...the mercenary set was a time-exclusive set from the 3-month-gold-promotion...
@schwammlgott yeah the Merc set is different, it came free with a month's xbox live subscription. It's not like it was a pre-order bonus or bundled with a limited edition peripheral.
Mind you, if you missed both that and the re-release, you're still out of luck for now.

Technically, yes, but it is still considered part of the same "set" as Onyx/Obsidian/Black Dog clothing/Ebon Flintlock... I just wish Rare were more consistent with the naming conventions.

Except with it being midnight and not onyx/obsidian it can be counted as not technically part of those sets at all, and therefor not have any reason to show up in the same way onyx and obsidian have previously. On paper it looks like onyx/obsidian, but it isn't, so there'd be no reason to expect it to be released with them.
Considering how it was obtained anyway I wouldn't be surprised if everything onyx/obsidian was named that way to remove itself from that possibility

I'm not expecting it to be released with them. I'm not expecting any of them to be released, they seem to be intended to be added as promo content in all cases - pre-order bonuses, mixpots, event giveaways.But they are all part of the same set, regardless - hence why all the names allude to darkness or blackness.
