Waw.. battlefield pirates!
Ill just be the happy button bashing pirate who calls mercy im friendly and does the beg for his life emote xD
I agree, tightening up player combat should be a priority. You should not need insider knowledge about loophole mechanics in order to be competitive 1v1. All unintended features of combat should be phased out, and replaced with in house mechanics with their own advantages, and disadvantages. No more exploiting to gain advantages.
@cjstrongarms props for knowing these tricks and bonus points if you can perform them. My 2 cents though.
Forgot 3 tricks but since your argument is to remove all of them I will refrain from sharing cause you won't appreciate it anyways.
Totally disagree that it needs to be a spam war. I rather enjoy facing a skilled opponent who knows and can perform all the tricks I know. There is a thrill to it instead of just looking down a ladder with a gun waiting on them to come up. There are plenty of things in the game to limit good players and put them at a level playing field (ladders, ship speeds/types, carrying capacity). I like that there are things to learn instead of "Oh its a sword. Swing it." and that is all the sword has. I love learning little tricks and stuff. That shows dedication to the game, the constant need to learn more.
All these tricks are nice but I still get destroyed by people who don't know them, they aren't an instant win. They are simply a tool.

I know no people who like to play with tryhards.
Well i can imagine and have experienced some tryhards blaming all for whatever reason, aproach the game not in a funny, playful way, but take it all too serious spoiling the game for everyone.
Proud to be a tryhard?
The biggest problem this game has is the gamers versus the players.
Tryhards versus casuals.
And i assume a casual player as a normal player, playing a healthy amount of time treat gaming maybe like a hobby but not an obsession.
Tryhards are obsessed imho.
The problem we have forever is.
Gamers gaming the system, obsessed tryhards spoil any game for normal casual players who want to play for fun and relaxation and not want to train combo until it's muscle memory.
Btw there is nothing hard about it or nothing a child cannot learn.
These "skills" people are talking of can be learned by everybody.
You need not even to be talented, what you need is do it over and over and over to get it done.
Thing is, to most players this is not fun and as they are not obsessed tryhards they just dont do it and dont want to do it this way.
I know all tricks i cant do them all, because i dont want to put the time into learning tricks that exploit the system and are unintended.
The lunge was already a glitch afaik. In the very beginning it was funny and nice to have to move faster to your ship.
Meanwhile the situation is completely out of order.
People using all these tricks are immersion breaking, nit fun to fight as these exploits combined with lag and bad hitreg make PvP not fun, but a pain only tryhards seem to have fun with.
Sorry to say that, but from my PoV you are not welcome to the Party.
I want to play a game, not become an obsessed clicker hero.
And i want to compete with likeminded players.
If i wanna shoot hoops with friends in the backyard i do not invite the Harlem Globetrotters to teach us a lesson. At least they dont exploit, so bad comparison.
You sweaty tryhards are ripping of the butterflys wings and smile while you are lacking empathy not getting nobody want to play with you because you dont play, but game the system like an obsessed tryhard.
Like people craving hard for any sort of attention and do silly things.
Look i can press a,b,x,pull down, a,a,b,pull up, do a half circle and then press x, b,b,a and x again in under 2,3 seconds and trigger an atomic strike on your ship.
I dont have fun playing with or against tryhards.
My input here is: I want Rare removes anything that attracts gamers gaming the system, tryhards, people who do not care for their fellow players, taking it all too serious and are obsessed, addicted or whatever.
I just dont want to play with such people. If this becomes majority on PC after xbox opt out in Adventure i will quit for sure.
