Arrrgh ye captains angry because sailing on the high seas with nothin to do gets boring if only thar was something to do while on a long trip.
One of my huge problems with Sea Of Thieves is it's kinda boring.
Sure there's fighting skeles and other crews but that doesn't happen all the time unless you seek it out.
One of my ideas for solving this boredem is a card game that's easy and fun to play. It would work like this: Two people sit down next to each other using the sit emote or some new emote in a range about as wide as a cannon in all directions.
Each player will have 20 random cards with each card having a number. It works like this each player takes out 2 cards for example
Player one and two both have two cards
Player one has An Oar (2 points) and a Banjo (6 points) so he has 8 points
Player two has a Mercenary Scorpion (7 points) and a Pistol (2 points) so he has 9 points
Because player two has 1 more point player two wins (rinse wash and repeat).
If you want to have an entire crew play it would go like this
Player one has a ---- (5 points) and
A ---- (2 points) 5+2=7
Player two has a ---- (1 point) and a ---- (4 points) 1+4=5
Player three has a ---- (6 points) and a ---- (2 points) 6+2=8
Player four has a ---- (8 points) and a ---- (9 points) 9+8=17
Because player four has more than all of the other people he wins. You could still apply this to any amount of people 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.
If 2 players have the same amount points they just pull out 2 more cards.
When somebody wins for example player four he takes all cards and puts them in a pile. at the end of the game which ever player has the most cards in their deck wins (they only take the cards currently being used not cards in the pile)
The winning player gets a small amount of coins (possibly 2-6 coins)
From each player. For example Player four wins and he gets 6 coins. 2 from each player and possibly other players can put down bets.
Tldr I want a 2-8 player card game because sailing for hours is boring.
