I've been experiencing a glitch for the past 2 months now where whenever I go into a new crew or just get on the game, my equipment varient is different from my previously chosen one. For an example, my order of souls lantern keeps changing to the sea dogs one, my compass, spyglass, and concertina keep changing to the bone crusher variants. Even after changing them back it will change if I go to a new lobby. I don't know how to fix this and I would appreciate to know how to fix it.
My equipment has been randomly changing.

Unfortunately, at the moment, this is a known issue and one rare are actively investigating. There should be a fix for this rolled into a future update.
Yeah I'm sure this will never be fixed just like all the other terrible server related bugs that are apparently impossible to solve. It's a shame that the game is still so plagued with bugs at this point; you'd think Rare would spend some time trying to fix it but instead they just totally ignore the problems since they would probably have to rewrite their entire system held together with sticks and stones to actually fix it.
The business model of this game is pretty obvious, keep it running with the minimum amount of manpower possible for as long as possible while trickling content to the users in the form of time limited events; ignore all the game breaking bugs because the players on the game are all recyclable anyway.
