if your doing a voyage for more treasure then just get one by one the chests to a outpost. kraken pop up to pirate with lots of gold, so little gold no kraken. and it worked. try it.
how to NOT get the kraken's attention
Kraken will only spawn when there is nothing in the sky.
Skull Fort, Skelly Fleet.
If your sailing with nothing in the sky your sailing in Kraken Weather. Hug close to an island.
Or just wait and stock up! That’s what I do.
People think it has something to do with the amount of treasure cause they get Krakenend after completing a Skull Fort. It’s not the treasure it’s cause you cleared the sky.
@glannigan is right. The kraken is not active while a cloud event is. People think they are attacked because they loaded up on treasure from a fort but the only reason the kraken attacked them is because when the skull cloud disappears, the small window for the kraken to spawn opens up. If they stay at the island waiting for the next cloud event, the kraken will not attack. Treasure does not make the kraken attack.
