@sweltering-nick just cos your write long boring posts don't make you smart believe what you want if they can add cross play to arena then they can for adventure at the very least they should match people via input device but you would get pc players who would just cheat with xim I think optional cross okay should be available on all games with cross play especially with pc or at least match us with our input method

Um... They don't need to do anything. If anything, they want the debates to keep going. Why? Because it allows for more people to hear about the game, and the more that hear about it, the bigger the community grows.
Forced? Please... You have the choice to play or not. It's not like you're being loaded into a cannon against your will.

So you complain about a post being too long, yet you don't format your post at all.Also, rare might still be deciding themselves for adventure based off of arena. Or they might be waiting until it's ready because of how much people complained when they announced it and then worked on it...

Dude you clearly dont even know what xim is, and clearly you seem to have some misconceptions about it, XIM is a way to use keyboard and mouse on a console...
But hey since XBOX has official mouse and keyboard support thats just useless.
Pc players can just connect a controller to their pc...
Also it is as @Sweltering-Nick stated not some kind of magic, any matchmaking changes has to do with some of the most complex coding you can have (netcode) to make it work right, there is a rwason it got delayed so much for arena.
And you are asking for an official statement for it which they gave fairly recently (when they released it for arena)
To make it easy for you ill quote it:
we are introducing optional crossplay for arena and will be looking in the future if and how we will implement it for adventure
