I hope I'll get to do the Halloween event (if that's even its purpose by the GameMasters, actually doing the fort). It's shipwreck bay all over again. Just a big ol' PvP hotspot!

I just got finished doing the fort AND sinking everyone who came anywhere near while I did.
Reminded me of what forts used to be like. Back when names were being made on these seas. Many's the legend was forged in the crucible of those early fort battles.
I enjoy it, think I might do it again tomorrow.
I rolled up to an alliance to help out, got boarded and interrogated. Tried talking to them, SoT showed my mic as working, all tests in Win10 showed my mic as working... but SoT being SoT they couldn't hear me. They completely destroyed me each time I spawned and tried typing in text chat to them.
Yeah, I can't see me doing this fort unless 1) my old crew get tired of Destiny 2, or 2) I brave the Open Crew Roulette... Or 3) somehow I get over my social anxiety long enough to LFC on the Discord.

@needsmokes Quite the challenge. I reckon everything up until Greymarrow would be ok, I dunno if I could solo the boss. It's sure worth trying. There's 15 minutes of reddit glory up for whomever is the first.
I'll probably try this fort in an alliance the next time, to see how that plays out. There's also the joys of hiding on people's boats. That boss fight was mostly an all-hands situation so there'd be plenty of opportunity to sneak on board.
Lots of things to try. Not quite 50 though...
its really not that fun, I was a good few hours getting the torches just to spend forever killing the content on the fort obviously geared for a much larger crew than a sloop. Ended up being there long enough for others to come outnumber us, troll and spoil the experience by sinking and ganking and undoing all our hard work.
Its obvious too many people playing this game dont value their time or are pirate legends who exist just to mess with others who wanna experience the content.
Id rather just play other games halloween events than waste hours of time trying to get the flames and skull. Its almost like they were self aware when they even let you buy a quest that takes you straight to a ritual skull.
