I'm getting almondbeard in the middle of loading screens when i first start the game and experiencing terrible lag in game when i DO connect. Its only been happening the last few days. Before then i've been playing fine on my PC since the anniversary update. Is anyone else having these issues? Or have had these issues and can offer a fix?
I actually just came to the forum looking for info on the same/similar problems my crew and I have been having.
Since around the last patch before the anni update getting through the initial sign in to the game has been extremely flaky usually causing my pc to completely lock up. Of my regular 4 man crew 3 of us have this issue basically every single time we log in. Usually it gets stuck on finding crew ledger and if you are lucky will let go of your pc after about 3 to 5 minutes and finish loading. About half the time you end up having to hard reboot just to regain control of the machine. There also seems to be a very repeatable problem where if you alt tab from the screen for even a second you get disconnected with a beard error. We also have one crew member who is experiencing the exact issue described above where once he gets to the actually load screen he gets dc'ed with a beard error about 50% of the time. In the last couple weeks this has gotten so bad that we have basically had to stop playing. Between freezing, crashing, and wait times arena has become a complete waste of time. We are lucky to get even one match an hour. Pretty disappointing since this has been our favorite game to play together for nearly a year now.
If anyone has info on what might be causing these issues or any official word on if it is being worked on I would greatly appreciate it.
