For almost 2 weeks noww i've been sporting NO TITLE while playing SOT (Let's NOT discuss the possible reasons whhy like gimped commmedations or whatever). Who else has joined this groupp or wants to join? And for those that are wearing titles then feel free too post in here which one(s) & why u like that particular one!

@zodemere Lol I have joined the Noobosapiens club, so I wear the starter clothes and title. It’s fun because players think you are an easy target. XD

@knifelife I met a couple of pirates like that last night wearing default gear. We had met their ship earlier in the night and formed an alliance. When we were getting ready to log off, my buddy and I decided to give them our supplies, cursed cannon balls, and a few odd pieces of loot we had. After delivering the goods, drinking, and music playing they decided to put their Athena 10 hats on. That was a funny surprise and I got a good chuckle from it.
@billosophical Hahaha that’s what I enjoy about the game when it comes to the players, you never know what you are going to get.
I approached a sloop earlier looking for an alliance and they just stared firing at me. In a strange turn of events I boarded them and took them both on in a fight and killed them twice.
They didn’t come back for more after that.

@zodemere I mean the Pirate Legend title is pretty cool; unless you were wearing one of those bloody 1000 chests/skulls commendations two weeks ago, then the Pirate Legend title probably shows off you're skill better than anything else.
Of course you could just where any piece of legend clothing to get the message across, but what's the fun in that!
@zodemere I only use the Legend or the Founder's Tittle.
But I wear no shiny nor glowing outfit. And when alone, my ship never has nothing to spot me as such.
It quite funny to have people interacting with me and after some time when they noticed the title to see their expressions of surprise.

Same here (nothing shiny/glowing) but with tthe original Raiderr of Cursed Strongholds. I wonder how long did it take you to get that Founder's title? Would u be ok with Rare allowing others to earn it now?

More seriously, it wouldn't feel right. Because it has a meaning, not an ingame meaning but a community meaning.
Allowing people to earn that right now wouldn't make any sense.
But This wouldn't happen, not even hypothetically. There no much sense on discussing this.
However if this was other kind of tittle which we've earn through in-game methods, I wouldn't be bothered of other people achieve what I achieved. Even if I had more time, and dedication on that than the new people to unlocked.
In personal matter, for sure that title would have more meaning to me than for other people. But that's personally, due to what that made me feel achieving it.
I cannot manage how others feel about stuff. So it's all a personal matter, basically.

Also while u ponder this do u think IF HYPOTHETICALLY they did that, would it take away that OW factor those that met you in game ? If Rare gave out that title after the fact more easily wouldn't that title lose some, most or all of its WOW factor??

Other way I wouldn't feel much bothered.
Like I said it would still have meaning to me, for what it made achieve.
If it would come to a point that title out be so usual and people wouldn't even wear it proudly, I'd still do.
And when asked why I wear such thing I say what it would be need to do to achieve it. Then people would understand what that title means. (At least to me).
This is an interaction social game. That would make a good way to interact with others.
