Hazelnutbeard?

  • Doing an Athenas quest and pulling in to Plunder Outpost with a ship full of loot and we all get Hazelnutbeard disconnected from server notices. Ship has been on server for around 11 hours.

    Needless to say, I'm a bit sad, but I would like to know what Hazelnut Beard is.

  • @aliasmask I think the hazelnut was something to do with accounts. I get it when I log on with a different computer on the same account.

  • That wouldn't make any sense in our case. I'm thinking they just shut down our server. It was pretty dead and we may have been the only ship on it.

  • I just got it and my friends stayed online, anyone figure out what it is? I can't find anything.

    Unfortunately the "Hazelnutbeard" error isn't listed. I suggest that you write out a support ticket.
    I have taken the liberty to alphabetize them. :o)

    We were unable to connect you to the game. Please do the following:
    Press the Guide Button on your controller
    Highlight Sea of Thieves
    Press the Menu Button (to the right of the Guide Button on your controller)
    Highlight "Quit" and press A
    Re-launch Sea of Thieves from your Pins, Recent or My Games & Apps areas of your console
    Navigate the menu and join a game as usual

    The Servers Are Closed – We are not running a play session when you tried to log in, so you cannot play Sea of Thieves right now.
    You have more than one Gamertag signed in to your console. Please sign all other accounts out of the console, and only launch the game with the one account that has been invited to play.

    Can arise if new players are temporarily prevented from joining the game as part of an effort to resolve server issues.   • Two years latter and I still getting this every 10 minutes, the weird think is that it happens sometimes after 2 hours of sailing, tried must of the "Solutions" but after some days appears again.
    So sad

  • @trodhiru yes just got the same error today no "solutions" help at all did disconnect me like 5 times trough the day and mostly not when me and my friend are just sailing and doing nothing, it does it every time something happens and he needs me also not to say all my inventory is cleared after i reconnect what is also a bit lame i would say. I would like why this is so and why my shop is also laggy as hell and sometimes when i am trying to buy items it tells me it can't find them right now. Looks for me like server problems don't know but some of my friends don't have any problems and some of them have them i would really like to know why that's a thing.
